Laverne Golf & Country Club

Beautiful 9-hole course with par 36.  Several tournaments are held each year.  Annual memberships are available for singles and families at reasonable rates.  Green fees are $10 a day Monday through Friday and weekends and holidays $15 a day.  Students can golf for $2 a day during  weekdays.  Cart rental is available.  The Club House is also available for wedding receptions, office parties, class reunions, etc.

Laverne City Park

Jane Jayroe Blvd. & Park Road

This 8-acre parks serves the citizens of the community well.  Located at the west end of town, the park has playground equipment, a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a gazebo and pavilion and a scout hut.  Also within the park are R.V. hook-ups with a dump station.

Laverne Community Museum

Broadway & NW 1st

Originally know as the Fox Hotel, which was built in 1913, now houses a wonderful museum.  With many rooms depicting the life of early homesteaders, the  rich heritage of the Laverne community and  Indian artifacts found in Harper County.  This museum also features one room honoring Jane Jayroe, Miss America 1967.

Kid's Inc. is a non-for-profit organization for the youth in the Laverne Area.  They offer T-ball, Softball, Baseball and Soccer for kids of all ages.
